Fibromyalgia is a common rheumatologic disorder that is often difficult to treat effectively.


Four patients diagnosed with fibromyalgia syndrome for two to 17 years are described. All had undergone multiple treatment modalities with limited success. All had complete, or nearly complete, resolution of their symptoms within months after eliminating monosodium glutamate (MSG) or MSG plus aspartame from their diet. All patients were women with multiple comorbidities prior to elimination of MSG. All have had recurrence of symptoms whenever MSG is ingested.


Excitotoxins are molecules, such as MSG and aspartate, that act as excitatory neurotransmitters, and can lead to neurotoxicity when used in excess. We propose that these four patients may represent a subset of fibromyalgia syndrome that is induced or exacerbated by excitotoxins or, alternatively, may comprise an excitotoxin syndrome that is similar to fibromyalgia. We suggest that
identification of similar patients and research with larger numbers of patients must be performed before definitive conclusions can be made.


The elimination of MSG and other excitotoxins from the diets of patients with fibromyalgia offers a benign treatment option that has the potential for dramatic results in a subset of patients.

The FDA – Do they really have your best interest at heart?

I was just reading from the Health Ranger that they have shut down yet another
natural healer, I went to the FDA’s website to check things out. Upon the last       paragraph that I read:

FDA, an agency within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services

  • protects the public health by assuring the safety, effectiveness and security of

  • human and veterinary drugs

  • vaccines and other biological products for human use

  • medical devices.

  • FDA also is responsible for the safety and security of our

  • nation’s food supply

  • cosmetics

  • dietary supplements

  • products that give off electronic radiation

  • regulating tobacco products.

I am in awe of this statement when in fact they allow all kinds of products on the      shelves that will indeed harm us. They even block out products that help heal and         even fight cancer and herbs and natural medicines that have been healing people for thousands of years because they can’t profit from them.

There are no regulations on cleaning products or personal care products and they            are filled with many toxic chemicals that can indeed harm you. They allow chemicals, preservatives, dyes, aspartame, msg, and genetically modified chemicals into your         food chain without your knowledge. They allow mercury in vaccines and all kinds               of drugs onto the market that are later pulled off because of severe side effects or        death. They allow them there to begin with, then they play the hero of pulling them          off the shelf to protect us when they find out they cause harm to humans? Vicious         little circle.

I include everything on my website that I want to keep in my collection. These             videos show the other side of the FDA and the Drug Companies they don’t want               you to know about. Proof that they are causing harm to humans. We have been               kept in the dark too long and I believe we are putting our trust in the devil. You                  be the judge and make your own informed decisions:

MSG or Monosodium Glutamate, Aspartame and other excitotoxins do cause
neurological diseases and brain disease. Dr Russell Blaylock, a certified
surgeon explains in an interview with Mike Adams. He puts it all in his new
book, Excitotoxins The Taste that Kills. The amount of glutamate in food has
doubled every decade. A study by the research foundation found out that the
amount humans are consuming causes lesions in animal brains. Humans are the most sensitive to the toxicity, particularly children and the unborn child.  

What I love about this Doctor is that he was one of those who genuinely care about humans and wasn’t afraid to print the truth. When he was a neurosurgeon and during his residency training, he was interest in what causes all these
neurological diseases and he was particularly interested in something that most
of his colleagues were not. That was nutrition and its effects on the brain and
recovery from brain injury. So that naturally led him into looking for things
that produced these problems. His journey started by reading a book by George Schwartz on the MSG syndrome.

What really bothers me is the attitude and deception of the manufacturers and
the government. When he first spoke on the issue in Chicago at a convention one of the chief manufacturers of the processed foods came up to him and said, “If you convince everyone of the toxicity of this, we’ll just change the name. We’re gonna get it in the food one way or another.” Even worse, the government allows them, if it’s less that 99% pure MSG, they can call it anythign they want to.

Can MSG be deadly? I just watched the show a thousand ways to die. A man who was one of those guys who searches for “all you can eat” buffets made his way to a Chinese restaurant. He ate, and ate and ate for hours. Once he got up to leave, he dropped dead from MSG poisoning. So like they would like you to believe that these things can’t harm you, they really can.

Could it be fair to say that a lot of the “new foods or additives” are drugs and should be classified as such? My problem is with the sneakiness of it being put into our food chain without our knowledge. When we catch on to the side effects these ingredient are causing, they change the name so we won’t recognize it. Does this seem like people who are looking out for your health and well-being or their pocket book? Is there really any wonder why there is so much chronic illness, pain and disease or are we creating it? They can then sell us a drug to help with those symptoms.

Did anyone else notice after the BPA scare that most everything in the grocery store is changing over to plastic?

Plastic is proven to go into the food when heated so are we eating plastic ketchup, mustard and bbq sauce? Why not, it is full of chemicals, preservatives, Aspartame, MSG and genetically modified sugars from GMO beet sugar anyways, why
not add plastic to it?

Is there any real unadulterer food left? It is getting harder to find and even then you might not be eating what you think. Is there any wonder why there is illnesses that we cannot cure? Then we slap it with more chemical called drugs to fix the problem.

Aspartame is a dipeptide composed of two amino acids: Laspartic acid and L-phenylalanine. Phenylalanine is an essential amino acid. These constituents are found in many common foods and are metabolized by the human body in exactly the same way as they would be if they came from meat, cheese, fish, vegetables or fruit. When aspartame is consumed, it breaks down into aspartic acid, phenylalanine and a small amount of methanol, identical to that found naturally in pectin-containing food products. The rest of the diet provides much greater quantities of these components than does aspartame. Aspartic acid ( 40%) Phenylalanine ( 50%) Methanol ( 10%) The confidence that consumers and food and drink manufacturers can have in aspartame is reflected in its high Acceptable Daily Intake (ADI). The ADI represents the safe daily consumption level of an ingredient over a person’s lifetime and is expressed in milligrams per kilogram of body weight. In the United States, the FDA has assigned aspartame an ADI of 50mg/kg. In the European Union, the ADI has been set at 40 mg/kg. The FDA has approved aspartame as a “General Purpose Sweetener” allowing it to be used in virtually any food application. In addition, the FDA has given aspartame “Good Manufacturing Practice” (GMP) status which means that there are no upper limits for the use of aspartame in individual product categories.
