Who will protect you from ‘Agent Orange’ crops?

Dear Organic Consumer,


Dow Chemical calls its new “Enlist”-brand
of 2,4-D-resistant GMO crops a “blockbuster.” Monsanto similarly
touts its new, highly-volatile dicamba-resistant soybean.

We call them toxic and dangerous.

But unfortunately, the USDA, which is
more committed to protecting Dow and Monsanto’s profits than it is
to protecting your health, is set to approve these new “Agent
Orange” and dicamba-resistant corn and soy crops any day now. And
when the poisonous residues of these two super-toxic herbicides
contaminate the human food supply, in literally thousands of
non-organic processed foods and ingredients, they won’t be labeled.

We need your help to get GMO crops and foods labeled—and banned! So far, we’ve raised almost $80,000 toward our $200,000 goal. Can you help us raise another $120,000 by midnight, March 31?

Dow’s Enlist-brand corn and soy are genetically engineered with 2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D), a toxic chemical that was part of the deadly Vietnam-era Agent Orange cocktail that has destroyed millions of lives. Monsanto’s dicamba-resistant soybeans are a close cousin of these Agent Orange crops.

2,4-D has been linked to liver damage, endocrine disruption, depressed thyroid hormone levels, infertility and cancer. 2,4-D-resistant crops will be able to withstand huge amounts of 2,4-D poison—poison that will eventually wind up not just on our food, but in our soil, water and air.

The Enlist brand is just one of many increasingly toxic GMO crops in Dow’s GMO pipeline. Dow is “spending millions of dollars and racking up hundreds of patents,” according to a recent article in the Indianapolis Busines Journal, which also reported, “Dow has more seeds, herbicides and fungicides about to reach the market than it has at any time since 1989.”

The U.S. government and its regulatory agencies are not going to protect us from these escalating assaults on our health and our environment. It’s up to us to drive crops like Dow’s Agent Orange corn and soybeans, and Monsanto’s dicamba-resistant soy off the market.

The anti-GMO movement has come a long way in the past two years. We are poised for victory. But we must win the upcoming decisive battles of 2014 in the frontline states of Vermont and Oregon, and intensify the struggle in other states and counties.

Do you know who Monsanto is?

 

Here is a look at the foods that you may be consuming that are genetically modified and the companies supported to kill the gmo labeling law in order to keep you in the dark about genetically modified foods. If you want to eat genetically modified foods then that is your choice,  but make it a choice, not a command in hiding it from us. I choose not too eat genetically modified foods because food makes me ill and I need to know.

What we can do is look for products that are now labelled NON-GMO. We are finding a way to get around things. 

 

It seriously needs our attention. There is even a darker side to it, they are actually experimenting mixing humans and animals. It seems to stop abruptly, I didn’t add the rest to the series but you can look it up on youtube if you like. I thought the point was made.

I am really upset that I am eating foods that are genetically modified without my

Demand the labeling of Genetically modified foods

I found the aspartame org website that says it’s all safe. Their models are all

smiling and happy drinking their chemical sweeteners but is life really like that?

In reality, do you see many healthy people? People are suffering and that is why

I am here, to help those who are suffering with chronic pain and disease. Anything

that could be of a health threat is a priority to me to spread the world.

I tried to find an about me page but I couldn’t. I found an expert page that lead

to a dead end of pages that were not found. Who are these experts? It is pretty

easy to find 90 scientists in the chemical industry who will say the product is safe

to consume but who can we trust?

Kraft or are they share holders? Is this website ran by these companies who sell these chemicals?

Their argument for those who are against Aspartame, MSG or GE Foods just want to sell their books. Are

they not wanting you to buy their chemicals like aspartame, MSG and GE foods? These books are to help

you live a long and healthy life and the information is given freely enough that you don’t have to buy their

books. The chemical companies want you to buy their chemicals. Do you want to trust someone who wants

to help you keep healthy or wants to help sell their chemicals?

Kellogg’s, Coca Cola and Kraft used genetically modified beet sugar!

Get some facts. Jeffrey Smith has compiled a safety website for non-gmo foods

and has compiled a lot of facts about genetically altered foods. Watch all three videos

from Dr Oz. Listen to Pamela Ronald PhD and see if she is someone you want to trust.

Michael Hansen PhD points out that round up use has increased 330 MILLION

POUNDS since GE foods have been introduced. Monsanto owns round up too by

the way, what a great business it has made them: Monsanto wouldn’t appear on

the Dr Oz show, here is their statement:

So much to report on Monsanto’s genetically modified foods and their outcome. Here is the skinny to all the newest:

– Monsanto’s BT-toxin has been found in the blood of pregnant women and their babies

– GMO’s damage the heart, spleen and blood cells

– are even in our natural food products according to the latest findings

– hundreds of thousands of Americans are now suffering from infections, serios gluten allergy reactions, headaches, dizzy spells, kidney stones, bowel irregularities and mutagenic cell production leading to cancer

– Monsanto’s GMO farm land has increased from 4 million in 1997 to over 330 million acres mostly US soil. Brazil and India are now popular GMO breeding grounds also

Canadian GM Flax Contamination Crisis Continues

Farmers in Canada are in the midst of a serious economic crisis created by GM flax contamination.

In late 2009, the GM contamination reached 35 countries and closed the European and other markets. The GM flax seed has been illegal to sell in Canada since 2001 and is not approved for human consumption outside of Canada and the US. The GM flax contamination crisis warns of the consequences if GM alfalfa or GM wheat are introduced.
