The doctor of the future will give no medicine, but will interest his patients in the care of the human frame, in diet, and in the cause and prevention of disease. Thomas Edison
Hey there! Thanks for dropping by Natural Pain Relief for Fibromyalgia! Take a look around and grab the RSS feed to stay updated. See you around!
I found a natural pain killing formula for Fibromyalgia from Tony the herbalist.
Finally something that takes pain away and all from your kitchen. It isn’t going
to taste very good but the healing properties and no side effects make it worth
trying. You can make a choice of years of pain killers that cause liver and
stomach problems.
This formula is for those with Fibromyalgia, restless leg, sore feet and body aches
and pains.
I wrote out Tony Pantalleresco recipe, it is all approximate and he said you can tweak
it to your taste:
1 tbsp cayenne pepper
1 tbsp Hungarian hot paprika
White of palmetto or lemon or grapefruit or oranges (bioflavinoids), he used dried palmetto
1 tsp turmeric
1/2 to 1 quart of distilled water (I use reverse osmosis)
Blend together, then add
About 1/2 fresh pineapple
****He cautions for those who are on blood thinners to not combine with with their warfarin or pills
but to take them 4 hours apart.
I am a long time lover of herbs and have used them for years. I am going to try this recipe to see if
it helps with my Fibromyalgia, sciatica and hip pain. I have read on many occasions that turmeric is very medicinal. It has been used in Ayurvedic medicine for years.
If you don’t like drinking the drink I found a recipe that you can put on externally that will
help with pain. It is probably like those hot pepper creams that the doctor prescribes.
Pain
Mix:
1 tsp of turmeric
2 tsp of ginger with water to make a paste
Spread over a cloth, place on affected area and bandage.
You can also add 1 tsp of turmeric to 1 cup of warm milk and drink before bed.
Turmeric has all kinds of healing properties. It is an alternative, analgesic, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, anti-tumor, anti-allergic, antioxicant, antiseptic, antispasmodic, appetizer, astringent, cardiovascular, carminative, cholagogue, digestive, diuretic, stimulant and vulnerary. Isn’t that incredible from one little herb?:
